Xiaomi Unveil Mi 5s And Mi 5s Plus Smartphone: Under-Glass Fingerprint Scanner, Check Out The Full Specs & Price

Xiaomi, often refer to as the Apple of china, has announced in Apple style, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus and Xiaomi Mi 5s, both device were unveil today. Apart from the dual camera feature, the interesting new feature is the fingerprint scan which is contained under the front glass. Unlike the Xiaomi Mi 5, the new Mi S-series come with all-metallic chassis.

According to Xioami, the technology “recognizes a 3D map of each user’s fingerprint through ultrasonic waves” meaning that it can sit on the front of the phone without a need for a physical button. The first of its kind right?
